Access to Treatment & Care
Every child deserves access to the medical care they need. We work tirelessly to bridge the gap in healthcare access, advocating for policies that ensure all children can receive timely and appropriate treatment. Through partnerships with healthcare providers, we strive to improve the availability of essential services and treatments for families facing financial and logistical challenges.
1 Hope House
In April 2024, we proudly launched 1 Hope House, a patient housing facility in Garden Estate, Nairobi, Kenya. Initially accommodating 22 children and their caregivers, this initiative directly addresses barriers to cancer treatment by providing short-term accommodation, meals, and transportation. By easing the financial and emotional strain of long-distance travel, 1 Hope House aims to improve treatment adherence and outcomes, aligning with the World Health Organization’s goal of raising global childhood cancer survival rates to 60% by 2030 and saving one million children.
